Customer Story: The Sweetest Sea Glass Earrings for Georgina

The design brief

Georgina told me rings weren’t really her thing but she had a serious earring obsession. She wanted something true to her style,  and asked me to create a pair of  sea glass charms which would hang on a pair of hoops.

The sketches and selection process

From email, we hopped over to WhatsApp because it’s faster for sharing. I sent quick photos of colour-pairing sea-glass options laid out on my bench. She chose an artfully non-matching pair—one soft forest green, one dreamy seafoam. That kind of mix-match energy felt so “her,” and I loved it.

I then drew her a simple sketch for scale and to get her approval.

Little behind-the-scenes moments

As I worked on her sea glass charms, I sent her more updates—photos of little behind-the-scenes moments. The whole process felt like a sweet back-and-forth between two ocean lovers. It always lights me up, making something bespoke for a customer, and honestly, that’s my favourite part of doing bespoke work.

The result

A beautiful artful pair of charms on thick hoops ready to be adorned and to be added Georgina's earring collection.

If you’re ever after something custom, just reach out by leaving me a message. I have lots of sea glass I have hand collected from around Sydney's northern beaches, Sutherland shire beaches and Tasmania.
